LemonAid always aims to work in partnership with similar organisations to ensure all programmes run as efficiently as possible. Within Haiti we are delighted to be working alongside Compassion who currently look after 65,000 sponsored children. Our partnership with Compassion allows LemonAid to deliver on the ground what the local people are most in need of. We have no need to pay wages to staff on the ground, as Compassion Haiti can liase on our behalf with Vaccine, translation and transportation providers to ensure LemonAid use every penny wisely. Compassion also allow us a mechanism for follow up for those children that need referred for more specialist medical help.
Working with GUTS church ensures that as many communities as possible recieve clean drinking water as quickly as possible. In partnership with GUTS we prevent duplication of effort on the ground. Neither organisation is about getting names on plaques, we are about getting the job done to provide the cleanest water in the quickest time frame. GUTS own a rig so there is no point in LemonAid purchasing a rig of our own. We contribute significantly to road building programmes so that the rig can access remote communities. Working in partnership with GUTS allows LemonAid to achieve far more than we could through working in isolation.
Lemon Aid is a contributing partner to the Guts Church water well drilling program on La Gonave. Lemon Aid is the fund raising arm for road work which allows Guts Church to reach remote communities with heavy equipment and drill fresh water wells. Without the support and contribution from Lemon Aid, it would severely limit the number of fresh water wells Guts Church could drill annually. The partnership from Lemon Aid allows Guts Church to focus solely on funding the well drilling arm of the project. "We deeply appreciate Lemon Aid taking responsibility for funding road work. Their willingness to partner on such a difficult project helps spread the load over several organizations. the contribution from Lemon Aid is a key factor in the success of our ongoing program."

"When I first took Justin to Haiti to see the work of Compassion, I could scarcely have imagined where it would lead. Some time after this he told me he had come under sufferance as a mutual friend had told him he needed to; well that might have been the case, but this guy doesn't sit on the fence for long! What a God-inspired whirlwind to be around. He's like the Heineken of development, reaching parts that others dont reach! His passion and compassion for the poor is on his sleeve; he saw the plight of his fellow brothers and sisters on Haiti's Lagonave and set about tackling the injustice poverty brings. His strategic grasp of the best way forward is a revelation and, with God's help, he brings others of skill and influence to the team time after time. Be it infrastructure, income generation methods or healthcare, Justin just weighs in and gets it done. We're still at the start of this journey, but I know he's got it mapped out. It's a real inspiration for me and Compassion to be partnering with LemonAid and Justin and I thank God our mutual friend leant on him. Once started, he's quite an unstoppable force. Praise God."
